About Ginger Minj

Long before she held court as a finalist on season 7 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Ginger reigned as The Comedy Queen of The South from her home base in Orlando, Florida. The self-professed “nicest bitch you’ll ever meet” cites classic funny ladies Carol Burnett, Lucille Ball, and Dolly Parton as her idols. With the recent release of her third studio album, Double Wide Diva, Ginger Minj is tapping into her genuine southern roots and is ready to introduce herself to the country music genre. With this release, Ginger is drawing from her own life experiences to share a collection of authentic songs, revealing a never-before-seen side of Ginger Minj. The project’s lead single, “Walk Tall,” was inspired by a pivotal moment in Ginger’s childhood, showcasing her captivating vocal range with an inspiring message to overcome negativity and be yourself. Ginger was a finalist of Season 6 of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars and is continuously working on exciting projects to come in 2022.
