Lil Nas X set to embark on first international tour

Lil Nas X will hit the road this fall with his first tour, Long Live Montero.

The tour is currently slated to go through Europe and North America. It will begin on September 6 in Detroit, Michigan and will wrap up on November 17 in Barcelona, Spain. Originally only scheduled for 21 dates, new shows are already being added due to demand.

The multiple platinum selling artist is revered for his over-the-top costuming and superstar showmanship as was evidenced most recently by his performance on this year’s Grammys. No stranger to controversy, Lil Nas X has single-handedly revitalized the flailing music video artform by putting out videos filled with sexual and religious imagery like the greats before him.

Unapologetically himself, Lil Nas X has shown the world what it looks like to be a gay black pop star with unparalleled success. He exudes confidence and sensuality and has the talent to back it all up. Because of all this, the show is garnering high expectations but there is no doubt that he can and will deliver.
