Universal releases Bros NSFW trailer

Universal Pictures released the first trailer for the hotly anticipated movie Bros on Wednesday. The movie represents a groundbreaking shift in Hollywood with it being the first gay rom-com released by a major studio, the first major film to star an entirely LGBTQ+ cast and Billy Eichner being the first openly gay man to write and star in his own major studio film.

In addition to Billy Eichner (Billy on the Street, Difficult People), the film stars Luke Macfarlane (Killjoys), Ts Madison (The Ts Madison Experience), Monica Raymund (Chicago Fire), Guillermo Díaz (Scandal), Guy Branum (The Other Two) and Amanda Bearse (Married …with Children).

Bros is directed by Nicholas Stoller from his screenplay with Eichner. The film is produced by Judd Apatow, Stoller and Joshua Church (co-producer Trainwreck, Step Brothers) and is executive produced by Eichner.

The film is described as “a smart, swoony and heartfelt comedy about how hard it is to find another tolerable human being to go through life with.” Check out the NSFW trailer below (featuring adult language and some sexual content):

Billy Eichner and Entertainment Weekly will host a live Twitter Spaces event to discuss Bros with members of the cast on Thursday May 19th at 1PM PST/ 4PM EST.
