YouTube stars Rose and Rosie make a baby — and a free e-book about family
Pride month is every month when you’re a parent. Just ask Rose and Rosie.
Superstar lesbian YouTubers Rose and Rosie, and online marketplace for freelancers, Fiverr, partnered with talented LGBTQ+ freelancers and allies in our community to co-create a children’s book that literally tells the story of diversity, acceptance, and representation of different family structures.
With their first baby on the way, Rose and Rosie wanted to create an inclusive book that reflected the diversity of nontraditional family types. To do so they have used a diverse and engaging array of charmingly individualistic sea creatures that all kids will be able to relate to!
Sea The Love: A Book About Families explores this theme through a classroom of young sea animals. The beautifully-illustrated story follows Dash the Dolphin as he spends the day talking to fellow students, building respect for everyone’s differences, and realizing that what truly defines a family and keeps it together is not its particular members and how they identify, but the love they share.
