Antoni Porowski is set to expand beyond Queer Eye

Antoni Porowski, the food and wine expert on Netflix’s Queer Eye is branching out beyond his role as one of the ‘Fab Five’.

As reported by Variety, the self-taught culinary whiz will be the host of Easy-Bake Battle, coming to Netflix later this year. Inspired by the popular children’s toy, the show will feature at-home chefs (like Porowski himself) who will compete in two rounds of savory and sweet challenges using only Easy-Bake-type ovens for cash prizes.

Porowski will be joined by an array of guest judges one show, including Kristen Kish of Iron Chef and Nailed It! alum Jacques Torres. Torres, it should be noted, helped pitch and develop the series as an executive producer.

In addition to Easy-Bake Battle, Porowski is currently working on a romantic comedy from Netflix entitled Girls & Boys. He will have a starring role in the film which is based on his real-life dating history. The self-identified ‘sexually fluid’ Porowski is teaming up with Black-ish creator Kenya Barris to bring the movie to life.

Besides all this, he will also appear in the upcoming drama Spoiler Alert starring Jim Parsons for Focus Features.

What does all this mean for Queer Eye, you ask? Well, nothing at all! The series has just been renewed for a seventh season and our heartthrob food expert will return with the rest of the team.

Keep up with all things Antoni on Instagram.
