Fiona Shaw joins cast of True Detective new season

Irish star of stage and screen, Fiona Shaw (Killing Eve) is set to join the incoming cast for Season 4 of True Detective, the hit HBO anthology series.
Deadline reported that Shaw, 64, is part of the cast for True Detective: Night Country. John Hawkes (Deadwood, Winter’s Bone), Christopher Eccleston (The Leftovers), Finn Bennett (Domina) and Anna Lambe (Three Pines) will also join as leads alongside Jodie Foster and Kali Reis in the crime series.
True Detective: Night Country, comes from writer-director-showrunner Issa López. Here is the logline: When the long winter night falls in Ennis, Alaska, the six men that operate the Tsalal Arctic Research Station vanish without a trace. To solve the case, Detectives Liz Danvers (Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Reis) will have to confront the darkness they carry in themselves, and dig into the haunted truths that lie buried under the eternal ice.
The ever-commanding Shaw will play Rose Aguineau, a survivalist with a past full of secrets.
