Sarah Paulson and Amanda Peet share Paw Works puppy pic
Two very happy pups from Paw Works have found new homes with animal-ally actresses Sarah Paulson and Amanda Peet.
Best friends in life, and both connected through animal rescue, Paulson and Peet found their new furry family members at Paw Works on Thanksgiving! Both actresses have adopted from Paw Works previously and share the organization’s mission of allowing rescues to live their best life.
Established on January 17, 2014, Paw Works was founded with the clear mission: to help make Ventura County “No Kill.” By forming a rescue organization designed to place unwanted animals from county and city shelters in permanent homes, they hoped to help ease the tragic burden that is created when owners abandon their animals and fail to spay or neuter their pets.
Ventura County was able to achieve “No Kill” status less than a month after Paw Works was formed, through the sheer determination and support provided directly from the organization. Expanding their reach, Paw Works continues to take in abandoned animals today throughout Southern California and the nation at large. Paw Works has further revolutionized the rescue community with the recent expansion of their Veterinary Hospital. Since opening in 2021, it has served as the first rescue-run vet in Ventura County – focused on providing animal rescue and affordable care for their community and beyond. To date, Paw Works has saved over 13,000 animals…and counting!
