5 Christmas gift picks from gay store, Adam’s Nest

Looking for last-minute gift ideas? Buy gay with Adam Singer from Adam’s Nest in Provincetown.

Adam’s Nest is one of the numerous Provincetown small businesses that joined in the Pink Friday initiative, which was the post-Thanksgiving shopping promotion to help support the small businesses of Provincetown, many of which are owned and run by LGBTQ proprietors.

It comes as no surprise that Provincetown has one of the nation’s widest variety of LGBTQ+ and allied-owned small businesses from retail, restaurants, and galleries to lodging and attractions. One of those is, of course, Adam’s Nest, run by former New Yorker, Adam Singer.

“Prior to Adam’s Nest I would come up from NYC for Christmas and New Year’s and hit (Provincetown’s famed nightclub) A-house and visit the beaches up and down the Cape,” says Singer of his own personal Christmas plans in the coastal haven he calls home. In recent times his plans at Christmas have flown into more snowbird territory, and he is more likely to head to Florida to escape the cold.

While Adam’s Nest is closed for Christmas he is accepting orders online. Next time you are in Ptown or on the Cape for summer do stop in to Adam’s Nest, the purveyor of LGBTQ Pride merchandise located at 379a Commercial St, Provincetown, MA and take a look at his unique array of queer statement gifts and apparel.

In the meantime, here are Adam Singer’s five top personal picks from his own stock:

Army of Lovers Hoodie

After multiple requests, Adam’s Nest created this Army Of Lovers Brigade Zip-front Hoodie. Features the store’s unique Ptown Icon graphic on the chest and the following message on the back: Unabashedly queer. Army of lovers brigade. Ptown is our happy place. Since 2016.

Queer Camo Sweatshirt

By popular demand Adam’s Nest embroidered some sweatshirts with their popular “Queer” graphic because visibility matters. 10% of profits will be donated to The Trevor Project to assist in their efforts saving LGBTQ lives.

Shoot Loads Not Guns Hat

This’ll make ’em look twice and think. Trucker-style mesh snapback cap, that satisfyingly donates 10% of profits from the sale to Gays Against Guns to help in their fight for sensible and meaningful gun reform.

Here To Make Friends T-Shirt

This stylish, slightly ’80s retro new artist graphic sleeveless tee from Andrew Sedgwick Guth was launched during Art Gaysel at Hotel Gaythering and is your must-have item to snap up now and wear to your next summer Tea Dance. 100% cotton and features Adam’s Nest logo at back neck.

Provincetown Dune Sweatshirt

Nathan Rapport created this cheeky and beautiful nude graphic exclusively for Adam’s Nest depicting naked guys in the iconic sand dunes. This cotton/poly blend fleece is perfect for the cooler weather and boasts a jersey lined hood. Perfect for a walk in the dunes!
