Antoni Porowski hits the road in support of Let’s Do Dinner
Antoni Porowski continues to branch out from Queer Eye as he finally hits the road this Valentine’s season in support of his 2021 book Antoni: Let’s Do Dinner.
Let’s Do Dinner was the follow up to Porowski’s book, the New York Times bestseller Antoni in the Kitchen. Original plans for a book tour were scrapped in light of the pandemic but now fans will finally get the chance to interact with the charming cook.
Let’s Do Dinner, is meant to serve as an invitation into the heartthrob’s “easy kitchen”. And as such, dinner with Antoni means satisfying meals full of clean protein and loads of vegetables, with splurges of carbs and decadence. Simple, yes, but always intended to be special. Antoni keeps shopping lists short and steps and pans to a minimum.
Pulled chicken nachos, pasta carbonara with scallions and peas, or pan-seared steak with harissa butter and crispy potatoes are just some of the recipes you will be privy to in the new book. Every dish is designed to be good for post-work evenings or casual entertaining, always keeping the tenants of flavor and ease of preparation in mind. Antoni will show you how to crank up the flavor in your day-to-day menu by demonstrating how to make exciting suppers from pantry staples and creating new takes on classics by swapping in one surprising ingredient. Plus, he lets you in on the secret weapons in every kitchen that can help you get great food on the table fast.
Starting on February 12, the food and wine expert will launch the Antoni: Let’s Do Dinner Tour in support of the book. At each engagement the star will talk about his theory around food, demonstrate some recipes from the book and answer your questions about cooking and entertaining. Tickets are still available for most cities although VIP options including meet and greets appear to already be sold out.
Tour dates are as follows:
