Check out this resource for Transgender Awareness Week

Anti-Trans Hate Machine has launched a resource page for journalists, activists, researchers, and the general public.

Transgender Awareness Week is observed November 13th to November 19th, in a one-week celebration leading up to the Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR), which memorializes victims of transphobic violence.

Transgender Day of Remembrance occurs annually on November 20, when transgender advocates raise awareness of the transgender community through education and advocacy activities. Unfortunately, according to numerous news, community and nonprofit sources, 2021 has been the deadliest year on record for transgender and gender non-conforming people and there is a raft of anti-transgender legislation in process all across the nation.

It is therefore of the utmost important that TDoR allows transgender advocates across the country and the world to raise awareness of the transgender community and their needs and issues through education and advocacy.

TransLash Media, a site that tells trans stories to raise awareness and save lives, has launched a resource page including podcasts, infographics, documents, and blog. Check it out here and share with someone who needs this information.
