Out country music artist Bryan Ruby releases Christmas single

Nashville-based country music star and out pro baseball player Bryan Ruby is excited to release his latest Christmas single! 

It’s A Wonderful Life” comes hot on the heels of his 6-track debut EP and title track “Diamond’s are Forever,” released last month. 

Bryan Ruby has captured the essence of the holiday season with his new song, “It’s a Wonderful Life. ” The enchanting track promises to tug at the heartstrings of music and Christmas lovers alike, bringing warmth to the coldest of winter nights. The new holiday tune was co-written with David Ross, Chad Sellers and Bryan Ruby.

“It’s a Wonderful Life” was produced by Smith Curry and recorded at Omni Sound in Nashville, Tennessee. The sound engineer on the project was Josh Emmons with mixing and mastering by Bobby Holland. Vocal tracking was provided by David Axelrod.  First-class musicians on the new song include Miles McPherson (drums), Steve Mackey (bass), Smith Curry (steel guitar), Sam Hunter (acoustic guitar), Nathan Keeterle (electric guitar), Billy Justineau (keyboards) and Mark Lonsway (background vocals). Ruby will join fellow Nashville songwriters Jay Bragg and Brontë Fall in December for a unique, holiday-themed tour, A Songwriter’s Christmas.

“A Songwriter’s Christmas” tour will visit four cities, spreading the spirit of the holidays through the power of music and creating an unforgettable experience for fans. This tour isn’t just about bringing joy to audiences; it’s about giving back to the community. Bryan Ruby, along with his fellow artists, have chosen to dedicate their tour to support music education for charity. Each city on the tour will have a unique opportunity to contribute to this noble cause and help make music education accessible in underserved places. The tour kicks off on December 3rd at iconic Nashville venue 3rd & Lindsley, with proceeds benefiting W.O. Smith Music School in Nashville and The Gift of Music project.

What’s most important to Bryan Ruby, who has found himself torn between the worlds of baseball and country music, is to help others and be of service to those still accepting themselves. Which is why he has founded his first-of-its kind charity, Proud To Be In Baseballwhich supports and encourages LGBTQ+ youth in the sport. Proud To Be In Baseball,  isa 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating, educating, and creating opportunities for the next generation of LGBTQ baseball players.
