Emma Corrin reveals new pronouns and chest-binding pics
‘The Crown’ star who so movingly portrayed Princess Diana has posted a heartfelt message about their identity.
Golden Globe-winning actor Emma Corrin came out as queer in April and this week revealed more about their gender identification in an Instagram post featuring beautiful black and white portrait images.
In the images Corrin poses in what looks like an improvised chest binder from boxing wrap. The actor then goes on to recommend where to get proper chest binders.
“[S]ome time before I bought my first proper binder, messing around with @sirdavidsimon, we used boxing wrap, thanks for capturing this with me, very intimate, very new, very cool. It’s all a journey right. Lots of twists and turns and change and that’s ok! Embrace it[.]”
Corrin goes by they/she and appeared to come out on their Instagram account on April 17 with this post:
Filming has wrapped on Corrin’s new movie, which sees her teaming up with Harry Styles. The LGBTQ-themed drama My Policeman, adapted from the novel by Bethan Roberts, sees Styles and Corrin as Tom and Marion, a couple whose lives are turned upside down by a visit from a mystery guest.
