First look at Billy Porter’s Anything’s Possible
On July 22, Orion Pictures will release the ALP/ Killer Films Production of Anything’s Possible, the directorial debut of the celebrated actor, entertainer and fashion icon Billy Porter.
The film will be released exclusively on Prime Video. In addition to directing, Porter will also serve as one of the film’s executive producers and one of the executive music producers on the soundtrack that will be released by Republic Records.
Written by Ximena Garcia Lecuona, Anything’s Possible is a delightfully modern Gen Z coming-of-age story. It centers around Kelsa, a confident high school girl who is trans, as she navigates through senior year. When her classmate Khal gets a crush on her, he musters up the courage to ask her out, despite the drama he knows it could cause. What transpires is a romance that showcases the joy, tenderness, and pain of young love.
The movie will star Eva Reign as Kelsa, Abubakr Ali as Khal, and Renée Elise Goldsberry as Kelsa’s loving mom. It has been rated PG-13 for strong language, thematic material, sexual material and brief teen drinking. Check out first look photos from the set above and the trailer below.
