First look at Karamo Brown’s new venture
The Queer Eye Fab 5 have certainly leveraged their high-profile appearances on the hit Netflix show. And now Karamo Brown, Queer Eye’s resident life coach, will take his interpersonal skills to the masses with his own nationally syndicated talk show.
Having captivated the nation with their lovable personalities, they have each gone on to start successful solo ventures, separate from the group. Jonathan Van Ness has their own Netflix show Getting Curious and is touring the world with their comedy show. Antoni Porowski is set to host Easy-Bake Battle later this year. Bobby Berk recently joined forces with Airbnb, allowing fans and design enthusiasts to stay at one of his personal properties. Tan France has designed an eyewear line for EyeBuyDirect while writing a column for GQ Middle East.
Karamo is a new daily, one-hour talk show starring the reality television personality, author, actor, producer and activist. It will air on stations in top markets across the country, including WPIX New York, KTLA Los Angeles, WCIU Chicago, WPHL Philadelphia, WATL Atlanta, WLVI Boston, WKCF Orlando, WSVN Miami and WJW Cleveland. Karamo has been sold to leading station groups that include Nexstar, Weigel, Sinclair, Tegna, Sunbeam, Hearst, Scripps, Capital, Bahakel, Block, CW Plus and Mission Broadcasting.
Karamo is bringing his enthusiastic, charismatic and fresh voice to daytime TV. The show will take the best elements of daytime drama while utilizing his unique personal journey and innate ability of personal connection. Karamo will authentically address a wide range of topics, including infidelity, race, parenting and complex family dynamics. On both linear and digital, Karamo’s fresh voice has broad appeal where conflict meets compassion as he gives thoughtful and genuine advice to each of his guests. Karamo features a studio audience that is an integral part of the show.
