Heathrow Baggage Handlers Celebrate Freddie Mercury’s Birthday With Dance Routine

Baggage handlers at London’s Heathrow Airport joined forces with staff from British Airways to perform a dance routine to Queen’s legendary hit “I Want To Break Free” in a loving tribute to Freddie Mercury on what would have been his birthday (September, 5th).

The airport team donned fake moustaches and hi-vis jackets inspired by Mercury’s own iconic yellow jacket to perform the routine. They also worked with a professional choreographer from the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.

Released across Heathrow Airport and British Airway’s social media accounts, the video was made specifically because Freddie Mercury used to work as a baggage handler at Heathrow and is in support of the Mercury Phoenix Trust.
