Jaimie Kelton and Robin Hopkins, (If These Ovaries Could Talk) have created this exclusive video for us where they chat about surviving life with kids while trapped at home in a pandemic. They provide five tips and tricks that have actually worked while homeschooling, social distancing and attempting to remain married.

These tips will help you stay sane and positive while on lockdown, and get you through this time of uncertainty.”

If you want to listen more, check out the full episode ‘Phases of Parenting: Life In a Pandemic’… One week into pandemic isolation, Jaimie and Robin talk about how they’re coping with homeschooling, social distancing and job uncertainty. Click here to listen to the podcast, or you can find it on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

If These Ovaries Could Talk is a podcast where two lesbians chat about making babies and non-traditional families. Jaimie and Robin humorously go in-depth with weekly guests about their hopes, fears, and setbacks. The mission is to normalize, elevate and celebrate non-traditional families, while confirming that we’re just like other parents, trying not to yell at our kids when they still haven’t put their shoes on and we’re 25 minutes late for school. The end result is a compelling podcast that explores the age-old question: what’s it like to live as an LGBTQ family in a world built for the straights?

Incidentally, Judy Gold is doing the forward for their book which will be available Fall 2020 – called If These Ovaries Could Talk: The Things We’ve Learned About Making an LGBTQ Family”
