International drag queen Jeza Belle hosts class on LGBTQ+ representation in film
Jurist, presenter and teacher Jeza Belle will be part of the lineup at prestigious Barcelona film festival.
L’Hospitalet – Barcelona International Film Festival (LHIFF), one of Europe’s most glamorous festivals for international emerging artists and experienced creators will take place in Barcelona, Spain September 13-18, 2021.
International Drag-queen comedian, writer, and director Jeza Belle will host a class on the importance of LGBTQ characters in film at the festival. Jeza will also present this year’s winners for best LGBTQ Feature and Short Films at the culminating gala event on September 18, 2021. In addition, Jeza Belle has been selected as a juror for the 2021 competition.
Jeza Belle has written for films, web-series, numerous international publications, as well as her own trashy comedic cookbook, the multi-award winning “The Harlot’s Guide to Classy Cocktails.” Jeza’s new book, “The Harlots Guide to Weight Loss- How I Lost Weight During the Pandemic Without Making Myself Crazy” is set to be released this fall. From her wry humor to her highly charged opinions, Jeza has been entertaining and delighting around the globe in all forms of artistic media.
LHIFF will feature opportunities for filmmakers to attend networking events, industry professional talk panels, workshops, guest speaker events, film premieres, financing talks, director Q&A’s recorded, film screenings and to socialize with like-minded creatives from all walks of life.
