LGBTQ talent continues to soar in ‘The Matrix Resurrections’

After 18 years, The Matrix franchise is back with The Matrix Resurrections. Check out the trailer.

The film, which was co-written and directed by the legendary trans filmmaker Lana Wachowski, who is one half of the Wachowski duo – the trans sisters who are the creators and directors of the original Matrix film, is the first Matrix film to be released since The Matrix Revolutions in 2003.

The amazing and stunning, three-minute trailer not only shows us that Keanu Reeves is back to lead the film, but the film is also continuing the legacy of showcasing queer talent by showing off two of our favorite out actors, Neil Patrick Harris and Jonathan Groff, who have recently joined the world of The Matrix. Carrie-Anne Moss and Jada Pinkett Smith will also be making their own epic comebacks to the series, along with sme new faces, including Candyman‘s Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Game of Thrones‘ Jessica Henwick, Quantico’s Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Christina Ricci!

We cannot wait until the film hits theaters in December! Until then, check out the trailer below!
