Man Parrish & Corey TuT Cover Donna Summer For World Pride Release

Following the success of the Danger Zone Remix EP and video earlier this year, Man Parrish and Corey TuT have teamed up again for an epic cover of Donna Summer’s disco anthem MacArthur Park.

The track, conceived and produced by electro pioneer and master producer/ remixer Man Parrish (Michael Jackson, Boy George, Gloria Gaynor, Klaus Nomi, Bronski Beat) is the lead single from Parrish’s forthcoming album of retro pop classics due out later this year.

“This song is a super iconic gay classic for me, so I really wanted to release it for Pride this year. When Manny originally asked me to record the vocal for it, I immediately said yes! I loved how he stayed true to the original version, yet gave the track an updated sheen, and I was down for the challenge of doing the song justice. Donna Summer is one of the greatest voices of all time in my opinion, so this was a rather daunting task, especially singing the song in her key! I hope I rose to the occasion.” – says TuT

In the end, TuT’s vocal soars over the horn stabs and Eurodisco/ Hi-NRG/ House treatment of Parrish’s production and has already been turning out dance floors across New York City.

Add it to your Pride playlist today!
