Matthew Morrison joins The Seth Concert Series

The Seth Concert Series, which has entertained us through the pandemic with intimate, virtual concerts, is getting a bit gleeful in the next few weeks.

Matthew Morrison will guest star at 3pm and 8pm EST on June 13 with Seth Rudetsky. As musical theatre fans know, Morrison played the teacher (and “Glee” club director) on the popular TV series.
Not only was he the teacher in the show, but he also was able to sing out in several songs. Morrison is also no stranger to Broadway, having originated roles in “Hairspray,” “Finding Neverland,” “South Pacific” and “Light in the Piazza.”

Morrison’s talent is almost — but not quite — upstaged by his sexy movie star looks. Morrison has had some roles in movies but a star-making movie role hasn’t come his way. But if Morrison is reading – I’d like to suggest he does what he can to play the role in the film version of “Sunset Blvd.” opposite Glenn Close.
