Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) is an issue in the LGBTQ+ community, but help is at hand: The National LGBTQ Institute on IPV has launched.

The National LGBTQ Institute on Intimate Partner Violence offers training, assistance, research and resources geared towards preventing partner violence. Check out their next live workshop designed to equip domestic violence service providers with information on the specific experiences of LGBTQ survivors of IPV.

This 1.5 hour interactive workshop is designed to equip domestic violence service providers with essential information on the unique and specific experiences of LGBTQ survivors of IPV. Participants will leave with increased knowledge of core best practices for providing culturally responsive services to LGBTQ individuals and tools and strategies for reducing barriers and providing intentional support around unique challenges that LGBTQ survivors face.

This is an online event and will be live on zoom on January 31, 2023, from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm.
