Nieri has released the new video for “Beautiful Music,” a moody dance track that evokes a night of hard clubbing.
The video for “Beautiful Music” was directed by Billie Black and filmed in Los Angeles at night, evoking those 4am club nights.
Nieri says, “With the Beautiful Music video, I wanted to capture the essence of the song with stunning visuals. With director Billie Black, we created sequences that felt progressively more euphoric, symbolizing the feeling of freedom that can be found in music, and dancing. We shot it at night in different locations around LA, and the video sees me going from a confined space, to an overlook, a field, and a parking lot. It was a lot of fun to shoot! “
“Beautiful Music is about the need to release tension, and finding that release in music. Many of us try to escape the stress of modern life with coping mechanisms like alcohol, drugs or casual sex,” says Nieri. “In most cases, that doesn’t really end well. I wrote this song as a reminder to myself that when things get tough, music has (and always will) be there for me. All I have to do is turn it on, dance a little, and eventually I will be okay.”
The Milan-raised / LA-based artist fuses the best of both world — Europe and LA — to create his own unique brand of electro-pop. The debut single conjures a pulsing beat and fuzzy bass line, immediately transporting you to a late night hotspot. The single is part of a debut EP, slated for later this year. Written and recorded between LA and Stockholm, with producer Joakim Buddee, the EP will showcase Nieri’s versatility as a songwriter and vocalist.
