Queer Forty founders honored by Adweek
Robin Gray and Richard Jones have been named to Adweek’s prestigious third annual Pride Stars list.
Adweek, the leading source of news and insight serving the brand marketing and advertising ecosystem since 1979, is celebrating diverse talent, leadership and innovation.
In their third year of promoting Pride Stars – the veterans and rising stars who may not be getting as much recognition as they deserve – Adweek has bestowed a very important honor on Queer Forty’s publishers Robin Gray and Richard Jones.
Queer Forty is published by Gray Jones Media, the world’s fastest growing LGBTQ media company producing high quality LGBTQ content across TV, online magazines, podcasts and live events.
“Each Pride Stars is special because they fully bring themselves to the table, embracing every part of their personality,” writes Adweek. “They’re more than just a gay business designer or lesbian who started her own company. They’re multifaceted people who remind us all that we don’t have to limit ourselves to one label or identity—and that we’re more than just a stripe on a rainbow flag.”
“It’s an incredible honor for Richard G. Jones and I to be named as part of this year’s Adweek Pride Stars. To be named alongside these illustrious and amazing people is frankly stunning and a huge testament not only to our success, but to the hard work of everyone at Gray Jones Media,” said Robin Gray.
“Thank you Adweek for including myself & Robin Gray as Pride Stars and LGBTQ+ Changemakers, it’s an incredible start to Pride. Thanks to our amazing team who work hard and helped GJM to get here,” said Richard Jones.
