Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund urges support
The Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund has asked for awareness and support in the urgent fight to protect trans health.
The TLDEF is asking media and individuals to get behind a social media campaign to help raise awareness and galvanize support for transgender rights.
“We have until October 3rd to let the Biden Administration know that we need a health care law (Section 1557) to protect trans and nonbinary people from discrimination in health care. And unfortunately, we see the opposition overwhelmingly bombarding the comment portal in response to Section 1557, so we need to galvanize more members and allies of the trans community to share their stories.
“With your help getting this important message out, we can ensure we are being heard on the federal level and that our community gets the protections we need and deserve!
