Trixie Mattel unveils new music video and cosmetic tools

Trixie Mattel, the stage persona for Brian Firkus, has become an unstoppable force in the worlds of drag and business, two fields that are no longer mutually exclusive thanks to the trail blazed by RuPaul.

Of course, we all know Trixie from RuPaul’s Drag Race season 7 and as the winner of All Stars season 3, but she has really taken her moment in the spotlight and ran with it.

Since Drag Race Trixie has released four studio albums, the latest of which- The Blonde and Pink Albums (a single release double album) was released in June of this year. Every release has charted on Billboard, paving the way for a slew of massively successful tours in which Trixie combines her comedic prowess with her impressive talents as a musician. She is currently crisscrossing the globe with her UNHhhh co-host Kaya in the Trixie and Katya Live! Tour.

When not touring or performing Trixie has her duties as founder and CEO of Trixie Cosmetics to contend with. The massively successful makeup line is comprised of all sorts of blushes, bronzers, eye shadows, lip balms, and lipsticks in addition to the  brushes, specialized palettes and accessories for sale. The cosmetic brand expanded even further this week with the release of the brand new “Trixie Tools” which include the “Lil’ Heart to Handle Beauty Scissors,” “#LiveLashLove Lash Curler,” “Heart Tweezers & Pouch,” and “Heart Sponge & Case.”

On top of that the ‘Skinny Legend’ released a brand-new music video this week for her song “White Rabbit” featuring Michelle Branch, you know, for good measure.

Trixie has also co-written the book Trixie and Katya’s Guide to Womanhood, with its follow-up Working Girls: Trixie and Katya’s Guide to Professional Womanhood slated to hit bookshelves this fall. There is a Trixie doll coming from Integrity Toys (which had to be preordered). She was the star of her own documentary Trixie Mattel: Moving Parts and is the proprietor of Trixie Motel, which is preparing for its grand opening Labor Day Weekend. Discovery+ recently aired the reality show Trixie Motel which focused on the renovations Trixie and her partner David Silver made to the run-down Palms Spring property they bought. It was equal parts home reno and entertainment with Trixie calling in some A-list helpers for the renovation, shopping for inspiration around Palm Springs in full drag and auditioning hot lifeguards for the pool with Leslie Jordan.

What’s next for Trixie is anyone’s guess but she shows no signs of slowing down. It appears to be Trixie Mattel’s world honey; we just live in it.

Keep up with Trixie on Instagram and Twitter.
