Watch the trailer for Season 2 of ‘Feel Good’
The queer comedy series featuring non-binary star Mae Martin airs on June 4.
The British show follows the evolution of George and Mae’s relationship in contemporary London. Mae (Mae Martin) a Canadian comedian (a version of Mae Martin’s own personal life) meets George (Charlotte Ritchie), a repressed middle-class English woman, at the comedy club where she performs. The pair begin dating, and George learns that Mae is a former drug addict. George encourages Mae to attend a Narcotics Anonymous meeting, where she meets fellow recovering addicts like Maggie, a quirky middle-aged woman who takes Mae under her wing.
As the series progresses, George struggles to come out to friends and family about her relationship with Mae. Adding another layer is the fact that Martin identifies as non-binary and recently came out about their gender identity.
In Feel Good Season 2: Mae and George’s complicated love story continues as Mae struggles to come to terms with the ghosts from her past and George tries to reinvent her present. Will they grow together or will they grow apart?
Also in the cast are Lisa Kudrow, Philip Burgers, and Adrian Lukis, Anthony Head, Jordan Stephens, John Ross Bowie, Eleanor Matsuura and Eve.
The second and final season of Feel Good premieres globally on Netflix on Friday, June 4.
