World premiere: Atomic Messy featuring Jennifer Messina

Jennifer Messina’s new music video for her song “Fall To My Knees” produced by Atomic Messy evokes ’80s Madonna, while the all-female cast of the music video (the SATX dancers) serve contemporary glam by Fashion Nova and Entourage swimwear with lips courtesy of Messina’s own Messina Glam Lipgloss!

“Fall to My Knees” means: “Oh, you want to cheat on me? I’m going to become so strong and unstoppable you’re going to be on my knees begging for me. But I will never take you back,” Messina revealed to Queer Forty. “I want it to encourage anyone going through a hard breakup that you are above any loser who doesn’t see the worth In you.”

The video starts with a lesbian couple in their living room, Jennifer is trying to get Ailyn (‘Eileen’) to pay attention to her, but Ailyn is too busy playing around with other girls. Throughout the video, Jennifer’s self confidence grows as she embodies a larger-than-life version of herself. An unstoppable Pop Star with her Army of empowered heroines. Throughout the video Ailyn tries to win Jennifer back but becomes powerless. It’s all empowerment and self confidence inspiring to show people, you don’t need a partner to be the best version of yourself.

Up-and-coming producer Atomic Messy, wrote this song with Messina, his elder cousin. The Messina family could not be more proud of the collaboration and seeing Atomic Messy be introduced to the world stage.

The video was shot at Studio Co. in San Antonio, Texas. The video’s Executive Producer is a mentor in the San Antonio Heels community and wanted to showcase SATX as a new center of talent in the US industry. Check out the credits, everyone from BYoung’s Heels Headquarters,  LLC is based in San Antonio.

“We brought a strong community influenced by the Hispanic and military cultures of SATX’s community and we are presenting them on the world’s stage,” says Messina.

Messina, who identifies as a lesbian (she/her) says she has been influenced by “all of the honest Dark Pop ladies of the industry. Lana Del Rey, Miley Cyrus, Halsey, Bebe Rexha are my current music inspirations today. My love for music started with Broadway and belting popstars like Whitney Houston, Celine Dion—and anyone who’s ever played Elphaba in Wicked the Musical.”
