The stars of sensational new movie Saltburn are going viral
The surprise movie success of the season is the pseudo-queer, deliciously sordid Saltburn. And its stars have found plenty of adoration online, too, unwittingly achieving influencer status!
New data reveals that gorgeous star and GQ Man of the Year Jacob Elordi is hypothetically the highest-earning social media star from Saltburn, potentially earning up to $42,475 per sponsored Instagram post, stealing the influencer thunder from his scene-stealing co-star Barry Keoghan.
Research conducted by Casino Alpha analyzed the Instagram profiles for the cast of Saltburn, the viral black comedy thriller released in late 2023 and now playing on Amazon Prime Video. Using influencer marketing calculators, they determined which stars had the highest follower boost after the movie’s release, and how much they could earn per sponsored Instagram post.
Jacob Elordi, who plays Felix Catton, proves to be the most popular and highest-earning cast member of Saltburn. With more than 13 million Instagram followers and an average of 626,176 likes per post, he could earn an estimated $42,475 for a single sponsored Instagram post.
In addition to his role in Saltburn, the 26-year-old recently portrayed Elvis Presley in the biographical film, Priscilla, which was released in November last year. Elordi initially gained prominence for his roles in Netflix’s The Kissing Booth trilogy and HBO’s Euphoria.
Academy award nominee Barry Keoghan (The Banshees of Inisherin) is the second-highest-earning actor in the Saltburn ensemble. The Irish actor, who portrays the unassuming but ultimately dangerous Oliver Quick, has the second-highest following of 1.6 million, enabling him to earn up to $5,154 per sponsored post. Keoghan receives an average of 270,504 likes per Instagram post and has gained 493,584 followers in the last 30 days alone.
The third most influential cast member is Rosamund Pike, who plays the role of Felix’s mother, Elspeth Catton. The actress, who is known for her roles in Gone Girl and Jack Reacher, has amassed 1.1 million Instagram followers. This, as well as averaging 62,596 likes per post, means she could earn an estimated $3,374 per sponsored post.
Sadie Soverall proves to be another hugely influential cast member. The 21-year-old British actress plays the role of Annabel and is the fourth highest-earning cast member. With a follower count of more than 512,000 followers and an average of 52,014 likes per post, Soverall can make an estimated $2,476 per sponsored post.
Richard E. Grant, who plays Felix’s father in the movie, is the fifth most influential cast member. The Swazi-English actor is well known for his role in the crime drama Can You Ever Forgive Me? in which he plays an outrageously gay grifter, as well as roles in Game of Thrones and Loki. Grant has amassed 221,943 Instagram followers, and with an average of 13,857 likes for each of his Instagram posts, his estimated potential earnings for sponsored Instagram posts is just shy of $1,075.
